BERNARD G. JOHNSON is a partner in the firm. He is Board Certified in Personal Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. He was awarded the highest rating of "AV" by LexisNexis Martindale-Hubbell for legal expertise, experience, integrity and overall professional excellence. Mr. Johnson was recognized by Texas Monthly magazine as a Texas Super Lawyer-Rising Star in 2006 and 2007. He was also recognized by H Texas Magazine in 2006 as a Top Professional on the Fast Track. His firm, Fisher Boyd, has represented clients in all types of personal injury and business litigation in a range of industries – from automotive, marine and aviation manufacturing to petroleum and chemical production, banking and professional sports. His firm handles major cases involving product liability, aviation, automotive and trucking collisions, professional negligence, industrial accidents and significant business litigation.
Mr. Johnson is a native Houstonian. He graduated from the University of Houston in 1990 and South Texas College of Law in 1996. He was admitted to practice law in Texas in 1996 and is admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Southern, Northern, Eastern and Western Districts of Texas. He is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan. He served on the State Bar of Texas committee on Pattern Jury Charges for General Negligence and Motor Vehicles, 2000-2001.
